Meet Our Providers

Amanda Esch

Amanda Esch received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Franciscan University of Steubenville. She has been a Nurse since 2007 and a Nurse Practitioner since 2009. As a Nurse Amanda worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital on the Neuroscience Unit. Amanda joined At Your Door Healthcare Services in 2018. She visits several Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Skilled facilities throughout the community. Amanda lives in Heath with her husband and 5 young children, 3 girls and 2 boys. They enjoy hiking and downhill skiing.

Amber Eiting

Amber Eiting is a Family Nurse Practitioner with At Your Door in the Northwest Columbus area. She received her BSN at Ohio Northern University in 2017. After graduation, she started as a Registered Nurse at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she has over 5 years of experience on a cardiothoracic and vascular PCU and Emergency Department. She graduated from OSU in May 2022 with her Master’s Degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner track program. She is very passionate about providing holistic and evidence-based care to the geriatric population.

She resides in Columbus with her husband and her daughter. Amber enjoys baking, reading, traveling and being outdoors.

Dr. Angela Palitto

Dr. Angela Palitto is an emergency medicine physician who works in many hospitals in this area and recently in Michigan. She graduated with her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. Her Master’s degree in Public Health is from American Public University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition is from Michigan State University. She was a medic in the Air Force Reserves for 5 years and a Flight Surgeon for Active-duty Air Force for 2 years prior to specializing in emergency medicine. She is passionate about providing high quality care and truly connecting with each patient and their families in order to provide the personalized care that they deserve. When not working, Angela enjoys baking, traveling, and concerts. She has an awesome 13-year-old daughter Kayla, loving fiancé, Steven and 9-month-old puppy, Luna, and a 7 year old boxer, Marley. Her most unique experience in life so far has been flying in the Stratosphere in the U-2 spy plane with a space suit on and she’s always open to more adventures in the future!

Anthony Durning

Anthony Durning received his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Wright State University in 2012.  He worked at Grandview Hospital in Dayton in the surgical and medical ICU for a total of seven years. Anthony then went on and received his Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree at Walden University in 2019. Prior to joining At Your Door, Anthony worked for a private practice group taking care of both acute and chronic conditions for Kettering Health Network. He has also worked for a local hospice group, as he has always had a passion advocating for patients during end-of-life care. Anthony currently resides in Waynesville, Ohio with his wife and two children, Cade, who is five and Quinn who is one! When not working caring for our local senior population, Anthony enjoys working out, cooking, traveling, and reading.

Angelic Washington

Angelic (Angel) has 17 years of experience as a healthcare professional. She is an ANCC board certified nurse practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Medical University of South Carolina. She specializes in adult-geriatric primary care with a sub-specialty in mental health.She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive primary care and mental health services to adolescents and adults.Angel provides evaluations and medication management with special attention to individual needs, which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient’s sense of comfort and trust. Angel believes in supporting individuals on their journey toward their own wellness through a nonjudgmental, compassionate and collaborative approach. In her free time, Angel enjoys running, reading, hiking/riding trails, concerts, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her German Shepherd dog Shelby who is obtaining certification as a Therapy Service Dog.

Alyssa Wenger

Alyssa Wenger is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients in skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living facilities. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University and graduated summa cum laude. She has been a registered nurse since 2016. She received her Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University. Alyssa is passionate about providing patient-centered, holistic care while working with her patients to achieve their health goals.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and going for walks around her neighborhood in Columbus.

Brian Weikert

Brian Weikert is an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Brian has been a Registered Nurse for 22 years with over 19 years in School Nursing and over 12 years in Critical Care. He works as a School Nurse in the New Albany school system and joined the At Your Door team in 2019. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 1997. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Leadership from Otterbein University in 2015. Last year, he completed his Post-Master’s Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Gerontology from the University of Cincinnati. In his free time, Brian has been a soccer coach at many levels for the last 17 years. He’s currently an assistant coach with the women’s team at Capital University. Brian lives in Westerville with his wife, Gwen and their four children, Daniel, Ellen, Gabriel and Owen. Brian enjoys supporting his children throughout the year in their activities and is an avid Star Wars fan and collector!

Cassaundra Finney

Cassaundra Finney is an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University College of Nursing while playing trombone for The Ohio State University Marching Band. She obtained her Master’s degree from The University of Cincinnati, but will always consider herself a Buckeye. She has over seven years of experience working with critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit at Riverside Methodist Hospital, and considers geriatrics her third love. Her first love is her husband, Brant, followed closely behind by her second love, Winnie Finney, her 12lb Australian Shepard. Her husband works as a lender for JP Morgan Chase in Polaris. When she isn’t caring for her patients, you will most likely find the three of them camping, boating, relaxing at a bonfire, or spending time with their niece and nephews over the weekends. She recently built a house in Sunbury and is excited grow new roots on eight acres of fresh four wheeling land.

Christine Stallings

Christine has been practicing nursing for 23 years providing patient care to critically ill patients. She graduated from The Ohio State University in May of 2020 with her MSN. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who cares for patients with empathy and acceptance of others. She has been married for 22 years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She has a passion for yoga, the zoo and animals.

Cierra Ramey

Cierra Ramey received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Ohio University and her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. She has been a nurse since 2012. As a nurse she worked in skilled nursing and home health settings. Cierra joined At Your Door in 2020 and visits assisted living, independent living and skilled facilities throughout the community. She lives in Circleville with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading a good book!

Crystal Fortuna

Crystal Fortuna is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, working in geriatric primary care. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Findlay, where she was active in Habitat for Humanity and spent time researching cancer cell growth and microbial growth. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Findlay as well. She is passionate about primary care medicine and educating patients so they can help make informed decisions and become engaged in their healthcare. She is also a big proponent of mental health awareness, and completed her Master’s research on medication treatments for opioid addiction. While completing her clinical rotations, she developed her love of working with geriatric patients. When Crystal isn’t at work, she enjoys nature and being outdoors, especially hiking with her 6-month-old hound puppy, Hazel. She also loves spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts/live music, and reading. Most of all, she loves exploring downtown Cincinnati, where she lives, and is always the first to try new, local restaurants. Her favorite place to be is on the beach in the Outer Banks of NC, or down south in the Gulf of Mexico.

Diana Harless

Diana graduated with her ADN in 1996. Her passion was to go back to school once her kids graduated high school but until then, she continued to work as a nurse providing patient care in a variety of settings. Diana obtained her bachelor’s degree, and then her family nurse practitioner MSN degree in 2014 from Ohio University. (Go Wildcats!!) Since graduation until recently, she worked as an NP at Grant Wound Center and worked in various assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. In 2017 she was hired on with At Your Door where she continues to help provide great quality care to our senior population! Diana loves what she does as a provider: helping not just the patient, but their family members and the staff of her communities. She is a very family-oriented person! She loves camping, cats, playing video games, and watching movies. Diana comes from a very large family were there are two sets of twins!

Dechone Samuels

Dechone is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a diverse background consisting of med-surg, rehab, skilled nursing, hospice, pediatrics, home care and case management. She specializes in chronic and preventative care for the adult and geriatric populations.

Dechone began her nursing career as an LPN in 2006 from Lebanon County Career and Technology Center. She then obtained her RN degree from Excelsior College in 2008 and then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontology degree in 2017 from Walden University, graduating with high honors.

She was born in Reading Pennsylvania and in her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Douglas C. Caserta

Doug is retired from the United States Air Force with over 20 years of military experience. While in active duty, Doug obtained a BS in Social Psychology from Park University. He has over 27 years of nursing experience in a wide variety of nursing roles. He earned an AS degree in nursing from Indiana University– Kokomo and a BS degree in nursing from Indiana University– East. Doug completed a MSN in primary care nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Doug is a retired Paramedic/Firefighter with over 35 years’ experience. Doug is married with two daughters, a stepdaughter, three grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. Doug and his wife are very active in their local Catholic parish as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, bereavement committee members, parish and finance councils, and strong advocates for the poor. Doug is also a Fourth Degree Sir Knight and Financial Secretary for Knights of Columbus Council #3698. He currently is working as adjunct nursing faculty at Indiana University-East and as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner for At-Your-Door.

Emily Schmitter

Emily Schmitter is a Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Loyola University of Chicago and her Masters of Science in Nursing at Otterbein University. She has been a nurse since 2017 with experience in pediatrics including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
She completed her clinical hours with At Your Door during her last semester of graduate school and found a passion for geriatrics. She has been certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2022.
In her free time, Emily enjoys cooking, traveling and taking walks with her dog, Archie.

Jennifer Phillips

Jennifer Phillips is an Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer worked as an emergency room registered nurse for 9 years prior to receiving her Masters in Nursing in 2015. Prior to joining At Your Door Healthcare, she practiced in primary care, assisted living and rehab care, home care, as well as specializing in wound care. Jennifer’s patients love that she provides thorough and compassionate care, while incorporating family into care and educating patients.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her 7-year-old daughter and 8-month-old son. As a Florida native she loves getting outdoors and being in the water and sun!

Karen Posey

Karen Posey is a Family Care Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing for the past five years in a cardiology practice in Zanesville, OH. She has been working at this location since graduating with her Master’s degree in Nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2015. Prior to her advanced degree, she provided acute care in the Intensive Care Unit at Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in both Education and Nursing from the Ohio State University and Mount Carmel College of Nursing. While earning her degrees she participated in Sigma Theta Tau due to her academic achievements and had the privilege of earning a spot with the Ohio State National Equestrian Team. Karen is the mother to four amazing children. Her oldest Kadence is 16, followed by Bridgette 14, Piper 9, and Ketcher 6. There is nothing she loves more than being with her children and her husband of 21 years, Ben. Karen spends her spare time working in her yard, riding bikes as a family, hiking local trails, and kayaking on the Kokosing river.

Kenzi Schafer

Kenzi Schafer is a certified physician assistant and has been with At Your Door: Visiting Healthcare Services since 2018. She works mainly in Zanesville, Ohio, in both assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Kenzi graduated from Marietta College in 2010 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She obtained her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Health Science from Marietta College in 2008.Kenzi worked for Genesis Medical Group from 2010 until 2019. She worked in electrophysiology for almost five years and then gastroenterology for over five years. She was elected as co-chair for the Advanced Practice Provider committee at Genesis Healthcare System in 2018.Kenzi and her husband Tyler live in Cambridge with their two children, Emri (8) and Trae (4). She enjoys traveling and coaching youth sports.

Lindsey Karnes

Lindsey Karnes is an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University College of Nursing. Her interest in nursing and passion for geriatrics came from her former studies in Exercise Physiology. She earned both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University (Go Bobcats!). She has previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner working in the skilled nursing setting and also as part of an inpatient diabetes consult service in a large hospital system in Columbus, Ohio. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Lindsey lives in the Southeast Columbus region. She enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling when she has the chance.

Lisa Popovich

Lisa Ann Popovich is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science degree in nursing at Northern Kentucky University with a graduate program focus as an adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She holds national certifications with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has enjoyed 11 years of nursing experience at the bedside in various specialties including subacute inpatient care, wound care and outpatient skilled care. Her passion is caring for the elderly and working with them to maintain a balance for optimal health and wellness through patient driven care. Away from work she enjoys reading, interior design, traveling, baking, and anything related to cosmetology.

Melinda Everman-Moore

Melinda Everman-Moore (aka Mel) – started her career as an Adjunct Professor in Health Promotion & Exercise Science at The Ohio State University. After 15 years of college teaching, she decided she needed a change. She was accepted into the Graduate Entry Program at Ohio State University where she obtained her RN and then her MSN. She was a registered nurse case manager in hospice before becoming a nurse practitioner. Her professional interests are in hospice care, dementia, and geriatrics. When Mel is not caring for her patients, she can be found chasing her twin teenage boys around. And she teaches Zumba and Strong by Zumba.

Megan Langel

Megan graduated with herBachelors of Science in Nursing from Capital University in 2016. Most of her nursing career thus far has been spent as an Emergency Room nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She then decided to further her education at The University of Cincinnati and graduated with herMasters of Science in Nursing, as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020. Megan lives in Blacklick, OH with her husband Lance. They have been married for 3 years, and have an adorable 4-year-old goldendoodle named Cooper. Megan has a love for traveling to see new beaches, but most of all she enjoys spending time with family and friends! Megan looks forward to helping provide exceptional healthcare and creating relationships with the geriatric population in the Columbus area!

Misti Holland

Misti Holland has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2014. She started her nursing career graduating from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2009 with her BSN and worked as a Registered Nurse on a telemetry/med-surg unit for five years. She obtained her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner’s degree through Mount Carmel College of Nursing as well. Misti started her journey with At Your Door Visiting Healthcare Services in 2018 and really enjoys providing care in Assisted Living settings! She also currently works in a Retail Health Clinic setting in which she provides both acute and chronic care to patients of all ages. She has been in that setting since 2014 and really enjoys the opportunity to provide care to such a diverse population with various needs. Aside from education and work, she and her husband have four beautiful little girls that keeps her on her toes! Two out of four of her girls are in gymnastics and the gym is her second home! She loves the gym life and tries to fit relaxing at home as a family of six in whenever possible! Misti is truly passionate about what she does for a living and enjoys making differences in people’s lives.

Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is a Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. He was born and raised in Grove City, Ohio, justsouth of Columbus, and continues to live there with his family consisting of his wife, 6 kids, 3 dogs, 2 ofwhich are Great Danes, and his in-laws. He obtained his undergraduate nursing degree from the MountCarmel College of Nursing in 2001, and his Master’s degree from Otterbein University in 2009. Michaelhas spent a majority of his nursing career working in surgery primarily in joint replacements both as acirculating nurse, scrub nurse, and as a first assistant.

When not working, Michael enjoys working on his “honey-do” list completing projects around thehouse. He is very handy and likes working on projects to make life easier at home. Michael also enjoysspending time with family and friends’ poolside in his backyard. His wife is a nurse manager on anorthopedic floor at The Ohio State University, so conversation is never lacking. Michael looks forward tocaring for folks in his “backyard” and supporting families in the Grove City and Columbus areas which hehas known all his life.

Sarah Hartfield

Sarah Hartfield, RN-CNP graduated with her BSN at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2003.She did all of her bedside nursing on a medical surgical unit at Mount Carmel West until she graduated with her MSN from Otterbein University in 2013. After graduation she started at The Ohio State University Medical Center in the department of Family Medicine where she also has experience in urgent care and occupational medicine. However, she has a passion for geriatrics, which is what brought her to At Your Door in the fall of 2018. Outside of work, Sarah is married and has three children and quite a few furry family members. All three kids play hockey, so if not at work, she will likely be found at the hockey rink. She enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

Sarah Hollis

Sarah Hollis is a nurse practitioner with At Your Door. She graduated with both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree in 2014, Sarah worked as a floor nurse on a medical surgical unit as well as in the ICU. As a nurse practitioner she has worked in a retail clinic and for the past 3 years has been a part of the At Your Door team. Sarah is married with 3 children (two boys and one girl) and loves to spend time with family/friends and travel during her free time.

Tawna Harris

Tawna has been a CNP since 2020. She graduated with her RN from Columbus State Community College in 2012, and received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2016. Tawna started working in pediatrics for 2 years, then went to work in geriatrics and found her passion! She graduated from Maryville University in 2020 with her MSN, with a concentration in adults/geriatrics.

Before she joined At Your Door, her background has been mostly hospice care and primary care and is very excited to grow her geriatric experience!

Tawna lives in Pataskala with her husband and 3 children. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, watching her kids enjoy their favorite activities, and also loves shopping.

Tiffany Seneff

Tiffany is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with At Your Door. Tiffany holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and Bachelor of Science from The University of Akron. Tiffany has 14 years of Critical Care, Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant, and Neuro Interventional experience. She has a passion for mental health awareness and improving healthcare access to those in need. Tiffany takes pride in being a strong advocate for her patients and the community. During her time away from work she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and four-year-old twin boys.

Valarie Langel
Valarie Langel

Valarie Langel has been a Nurse Practitioner since May 2014. She has been a part of the At Your Door team since June 2017 seeing patients in skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, and assisted living. She graduated from Otterbein University with honors and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. She is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a registered nurse since 2010, and was an RN at Riverside Methodist Hospital in cardiology and med-surg prior to her NP. She has worked as an NP in many areas, such as urgent care and gastroenterology. Valarie is married to her husband Matt, and they have two children, Savannah and Brayden and they reside in Pataskala, Ohio. She has a passion for geriatrics and truly loves her residents like they are her own family.
