FAQ

At Your Door hires the best medical professionals that match with our company’s values to provide compassionate care for your residents! We employ Certified Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants to care for your residents with assistance from Medical Assistants! These are our “Providers”.

This of course depends on how many of your residents our provider cares for and the acuity of their needs. Generally, they will be in your community one day a week, and it will be on the same day and time each week – so you will always know when we will be in your community. If needed, we will tailor our visits to accommodate your community’s needs.

Per state guidelines, our Ohio At Your Door providers must have a collaborating physician. At Your Door can also offer these physicians for rounding services as needed, if requested, in addition to our regular provider visits.

In Florida, our providers can practice “autonomously” and aren’t required to have a collaborating physician.  They do have access to physicians and other providers if they should ever need assistance.

Yes! Your staff will have direct access to their provider via cell phone or secured texting from 7am until 9pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-5pm Friday. It is our goal that if you can’t reach them immediately, you will receive a return call within a half hour. That said, you will typically receive a call back within 5-10 minutes.

Absolutely! We know that issues with your residents don’t just happen from 9-5 Monday through Friday. Our on-call providers are At Your Door providers and have access to all medical records for our patients in your community during “off hours.” This ensures we are able to provide your staff assistance in order to best keep your residents healthy and out of the hospital 24/7, 365 days a year!

In Ohio, At Your Door accepts nearly all insurance! In fact, we haven’t found any that we DON’T accept. This also includes Medigold, which is very popular yet is one that not many providers accept.
In Florida, we are able to accept Medicare and Medicaid, as well as Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue, United Healthcare and Baycare Plus plans. We anticipate adding more insurance plans soon, so please reach out if you have any questions!

We know that your community needs can change and we are always available to discuss those needs and will tailor our visits with the needs of your community!
